Everybody wants to print their pictures to display in their home, but prints can get very boring-very quickly. It’s time to add some flare to your photos and take it one step farther! Mounting a photo on a canvas is an easy way to display your pictures and add some depth to your walls. Here’s a fun DIY photo project that let’s you flaunt your favorite photos!
To get started, choose your favorite photos in the Picture Keeper App. Simply select the ones you want to have printed and choose the size you prefer. “Order Prints” and have them delivered to your door in just a few days. Once the prints come in, it’s time to get started!
5×7 inch canvas boards
Paint brushes (regular or foam)
Scissors or exacto knife
1. Print your photos in advance through the Picture Keeper App. The app offers many different sizes and you can order as many as you’d like!
2. Coat your 5×7 inch canvas boards in Mod Podge and center the printed photo on the board. With the little bit of overlap, trim the corners back so you can fold around the back of the board. This way you’ll have clean and simple edges when the project is complete
3. Lastly, Put an extra coat of Mod Podge across the front of the canvas for an extra protective top coat.
You’re finished! You have some great personal canvas prints of your favorite photos!
The paper will actually glue down pretty tight to the canvas. You’ll see a bit of the texture come through which gives it the impression that it was printed on canvas.
